Wow, what an amazing 24 hours. perhaps the most intense joys and pains of my life.
Sarah is doing well, with minimal tearing. she made it through the entire process with no pain killers. Labor was mercifully short — she impressed 4 nurses and 2 doctors with her strength. she is my hero.
Group Health thinks we are such a great family, they want to keep us until saturday. for now, we are both exhausted. so do we get to sleep now?

Superhero indeed! I am immeasurable impressed by Sarah foregoing painkillers. And I am so happy that you all are doing well and getting some rest.
I send my love, as always.

Praise the Lord! Congratulations are in order! May the Lord give you both rest and joy in these blessed days. Welcome Micah!

congratulations! thanks for passing on the excellent news so soon. Sarah is a total 6, facing her fears and overcoming. We are praying for all three of you: that the hospital staff would have wisdom on how to help you rest, bond as a family and find out everything pertinent to the health of your I-can’t-wait-4-more-weeks son.
We love you,
Rach

Congratulations. We look forward to seeing photos of little Micah. Rob and I will be praying for all of you as you transition these next several weeks. Micah is very lucky to have you as his parents!
